Stephanie Menefee

Stephanie Menefee has been an elementary school music teacher in Tacoma, WA since 2000. She teaches students in grades K-5. Her 4th and 5th grade choir has been invited to sing at district events as
well as sing the National Anthem at the local AAA baseball game on a yearly basis. In addition to teaching music, Stephanie has served as the elementary music content lead since 2022, creating and directing the professional development and PLC content for the elementary music staff in Tacoma Public Schools. Stephanie presented for MusicPlayOnline in August 2020, focusing on the use of MPO with the Schoology LMS. This webinar was presented with Jeaneau Julian. Stephanie received her Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from the University of Puget Sound in 1999 and her Master of Arts in Teaching degree, also from UPS, in 2000. She lives in Tacoma, WA with her husband, Jeff, and their three children, Owen, Reagan, and Jackson.
